How to Make a St. Patrick's Day Lucky Leprechaun Lunch

St. Patrick's Day is a day for celebrating and with the help of this Lucky Leprechaun lunch, your whole family can party together. You can build this entire lunch for your kids or just make a part of it for an after school snack. The important part is that you pick up some Dandy Celery Sticks to take this food art to the St. Patty's Day level!

We have been loving Dandy Celery Sticks lately. Whether they are filled with cream cheese, dipped in nut-free spread, or just served plain, my kids have been crunching away on these naturally sweet and delicious veggie sticks. How to Make a Disney Onward Food Art School Lunch

We just saw the Disney Pixar movie Onward this weekend and had such a great time! We had watched so many previews for it and couldn't wait for it to come out. It dealt with many deep issues but also had some hilarious parts. I especially loved how it showed us the close relationship between the two brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, played by Tom Holland and Christ Pratt.

While I was experiencing the movie with my family, I couldn't help but notice all of the elements that I could use to make my kids a lunch. From the colors in the movie poster, to the wizard staff, to cheesy puffs, I tried to include as many as I could. Keep reading to find out how to make this lunch for your own kids!

How to Make a Disney Villains School Lunch

My daughter said that this is one of her most favorite lunches that I've ever made. My sons couldn't stop talking about it. Needless to say this Disney Villains school lunch was a hit. In fact, it was such a success I might have to make sequel. But before I do, let's show you how to make your own Villains lunch complete with Maleficent, Gaston, and Ursula.

The day before I made this lunch, I asked my kids who their favorite villains were. We went through a laundry list of of Disney films like Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, The Lion King, Peter Pan, and more. How to Make a Toy Story School Lunch

Like many families, one of our family's favorite film franchises is Disney Pixar's Toy Story. From the original Toy Story down the line to every other release, we can't get enough. We even loved visiting Toy Story Land at Disney World with our kids. That blew our minds! So in honor of our love for these classic characters, I had to make another Toy Story lunch for my kids.

My last Toy Story lunch was Jessie, so this time around I featured Woody but had to figure out a way to include a few side dishes. I landed on an Alien and Forky. I figured they would be the easiest to fit in side compartments because of how simple they are. So keep reading to find out how I made it everything!

5 Tips You've Probably Never Used to Easily Scour, Disinfect, and Sanitize Your Kitchen

Monday, January 27, 2020

This is a sponsored post in partnership with The Home Depot. All opinions are my own.

I talk quite a bit about how to make family-friendly recipes that your kids will devour but I don't think I've written about the best ways to clean up after the cooking mess has been made in the kitchen. I'm changing that right now by revealing my seven tips to cleaning up your kitchen after the recipe is made. Unfortunately there's no single magic trick to cleaning up the dishes, food on the floor, and splatters on the clothes, but these cleaning hacks will make your life infinitely easier. Have you ever heard of these tips before?

5 Tips You've Probably Never Used to Easily Scour, Disinfect, and Sanitize Your Kitchen
Tip 1: Clorox Wipes Aren't Just for Countertops
Clorox Disinfecting Wipes are one of my absolute favorite cleaning tools. Did you know that you can use them on surfaces other than counter tops? From stainless steel to finished hardwood, Clorox Disinfecting Wipes don't just cut through grease and grime, but they kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria in 10 seconds. My favorite is the lemon scent!

5 Tips You've Probably Never Used to Easily Scour, Disinfect, and Sanitize Your Kitchen
Tip 2: Pine-Sol Cleans Up Grease...On Your Clothes
After you are done cooking, there is a chance that there are grease splatters and stains on your clothes or apron. Just because you are making great food doesn't mean you have to wear big stains on your clothing! Just pour a little Pine-Sol on the stain, work it in a little bit, and then wash as you normally would.
Pine-Sol disinfects and kills 99.9% of germs. Besides clothes, you can use Pine-Sol Multi-surface cleaner on hard, nonporous surfaces including floors (such as finished hardwood and carpet), sinks, counters (such as granite), bathtubs, shower stalls, tile and more. We love using Pine-Sol because it deodorizes and has a clean, fresh scent!
