How to Make a Thanksgiving Turkey School Lunch

Thanksgiving is absolutely one of the most delicious meals of the year. Once those leaves start to turn, I start dreaming of that deep-fried turkey goodness. So in preparation for getting on those stretchy pants, I always have to make a fun turkey-themed lunch or two for my kids.  Fall Football Lunch Recipe

Nothing says fall like football! We just finished up both of my sons' youth football leagues and my daughter is just about done with her first season with the high school marching band, which plays every Friday night at games. I'm also knee-deep in my fantasy football leagues, one of which I'm barely still alive in but stubbornly hanging on.

I haven't even mentioned watching NFL games yet. We live in Oklahoma which means people live and die with OU and OSU but we are more into the Seattle Seahawks. So yeah, you can say football is a big deal in our house. This is why it is time to break out the football lunch. This lunch features football sandwiches, fall-themed chips and apples, and some pumpkin-shaped desserts. I believe we bought all of these fall-themed sides at Trader Joe's, but you can find similar ones at different stores. Keep reading for the rest of the directions.
