How to make a Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Spider-Ham Peter Porker lunch!

Welcome to the second lunch in my Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse series! My family loves this movie so I had to make my kids a series of lunches based on it. Spider-Ham (Peter Porker) was my youngest's favorite Spider-Man in the movie, so this lunch was for him.

Spider-Man

If your kids are into superhero movies, then you MUST see Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. It doesn't matter if you are into comic books, know all the backstories, or are just a casual fan (like my family is), you will enjoy this movie. It is only rated PG and, although intense at times, is great for a wide age range of kids and adults!

The movie follows the story of the Spider-Man you know and love, along with Miles Morales, as well as other Spider-Man characters from alternate universes. Even if you have never heard of the other "Spider-People" before, you will grow to love them. I won't give away any more of the plot, but I will give you the secrets to making my Spider-Man Miles Morales lunch!

Make sure to check out the trailer for the movie below and you can see why I made this lunch the way that I did. Also don't forget to check out my other Into the Spider-Verse lunch recipes this week right here on my blog!

Fortnite School Lunch Idea

Fortnite Battle Royale

If you're a parent of a kid who's into video games then you've definitely had a conversation with them about Fortnite. You've probably experienced the game firsthand. On second thought, you're probably extremely tired of hearing about it. I know I am.

We haven't even let my eight-year-old play it but it is still all he can talk about. He pulled one of those, "everyone in my class has Fortnite." Of course my wife and I laughed when said it. However, his teacher said that is actually probably true. Anyway, he still doesn't have the game but I thought it would be fun to make him a Fortnite lunch. I'm going to be honest here, I have no idea about the skins, or characters, or pretty much anything else. But Google is my friend so I found these things in the game to put in the lunch. So if you want to make your own, the ingredients are below!

Nintendo Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Lunch

How to make a Nintendo Super Mario Bros. Ultimate lunch for your kids!

Well, it's January, my kids went back to school, and I was out of ideas for special lunches. For the past month it's been all about Christmas so it was hard to wrap my head around what else to make them. Then it came to me. They were so excited to get Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the mail from Nintendo, so I thought I would make them lunches based on the game.

I realized that I haven't made them very many lunches based on video games, but the amount of characters in Super Smash Bros. makes it a great candidate because the possibilities are endless! I wanted to include so many more of their favorites such as Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, and Link from The Legend of Zelda. But sadly I ran out of time, energy, and space in the lunchbox. I settled for Super Mario, Kirby, Yoshi's egg, and a Pokeball from Pokemon. I guess I might have to do a sequel lunch sometime down the road. Until then, here are the ingredients I used for each character or the character's item!
