How to Make a The Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington Lunch

If you have followed my blog for awhile you know Disney's The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of our favorite seasonal movies. It just puts us in the mood for the holidays. I try to make a lunch based on the movie every Halloween, Christmas, or even both! This year is no exception so it was time to make a Jack Skellington lunch featuring Oogie Boogie.

Who is your favorite character from this movie? Is it Jack? Sally? Zero? They are all so good it's hard to choose. My kids are even planning to dress up as character from The Nightmare Before Christmas this Halloween. If your kids are into this movie as much as mine are, keep reading to find out how to make them this lunch!

Ingredients: Tortillas, white cheese, sliced turkey, black colored fresh and dried fruit, orange, granola bar, icing.

Directions:

1. Stuff two dark colored tortillas with sliced turkey or your kids favorite lunch meat. Place in lunchbox on top of a dark colored fruit like black grapes.

2. Cut a circle of cheese to look like Jack's face. I use provolone cheese because it's already round. It seems difficult but it is actually pretty easy. Just follow what my Jack looks like above.

3. Draw Oogie Boogie on an orange using a black marker. He doesn't have to be perfect since he's basically a potato sack so just have fun with it. Put him in a side compartment and surround him with raisins.

4. In the second side compartment put a granola bar on top of raisins. I made a monster using icing. I thought he looked like one of the things that would go inside the Christmas presents that the people of Halloween Town wrap. But you could make any monster you want.
