Lunchbox Dad's Family Product Picks

Introducing my new Monthly Family Product Picks. These are 10 products that my family has loved using over the past month. From food, to tools, to toys, to household items, we are showing you stuff that will make your lives more enjoyable. Some of these items were given to us for free to try while others we found and paid for ourselves. I have NOT been paid to write about any of these products. These are just things that have been fun to use or made our lives easier.

1. Stok Quattro Grill
After twelve years I finally brought home a new BBQ. What I love about this grill is that you have the option of getting custom inserts to cook different types of food. Want a pizza stone? A rack for cooking kabobs? They have those inserts. You know what I love? A grill that actually lights without pressing the button 5,000 times. Stokgrills.com

2. TreeTop Fruit Smoothie Pouches
My kids have loved these smoothies. Many times we make our own smoothies with fresh fruit, but when we are short on time these are fantastic. My kids can’t get enough of the Banana Strawberry flavor. They go well in lunchboxes too! Treetop.com

3. Clearon Bleach Tablets
We use these in the wash and they use some sort of black magic to remove stains. My wife wants to buy these bottles in bulk. Clearon.com

4. Nature Valley Nut Crisp Granola Bars
I would like to say my kids have enjoyed these, but usually I hide them and eat them myself in a dark corner where they can’t see. These seriously might be the best granola bars I have ever eaten. Naturevalley.com

5. Lee Men's Modern Series Jeans
Stop, you haven’t time traveled back to the 80’s. Lee jeans are making a comeback. I’m serious. I have a pair of the modern series jeans and they are the most comfortable jeans I have worn in a long time. These makes you want to throw out all your other jeans because they are just taking up space in your closet. Lee.com

6. Pasta Chips
These are really good when you are looking to snack on a different sort of chip. They are baked and only 120 calories per serving. Plus you don’t have orange chip dust all over your fingers after you devour them. Pastachips.com

7. Lil' Speller Phonics Station
My kids have been loving playing with this learning toy in the car. As parents we love that it has taken the place of the Frozen soundtrack being played over and over. Oh, and of course it's great that they are learning to spell and all that important stuff. vtechkids.com
8. Zipadee-Zip Swaddle
This is a swaddle for bigger kids. It has helped save our sanity when my 1 year old decided he was allergic to sleep. It costs $37, but can you really place a price tag on parental sanity? Zipadeezip.com

9. Motorola MBP854Connect Baby Monitor
We finally got rid of our old baby monitor and we are loving this new Motorola model. You can control the pan, zoom, and tilt, remotely from the device or from an app on your phone. We want to add a second camera for our older kids’ room. It’s never been so easy to spy on your children. Motorola.com

10. Easy Lunch Boxes – Urban Colors
We have used Easy Lunch Boxes for a few years now. They are simple, inexpensive and basically make it easy to pack lunch for your kids (or even adults). This isn’t a new model, but they did come out with new colors including black and olive. Maybe I’ll have to make my son a Batman lunch to match the new look. EasyLunchBoxes.com
