9 Halloween Shows to Stream With Your Family on Netflix

Wednesday, October 19, 2016

I am a member of the Netflix Stream Team. I was provided resources for watching Netflix, but all opinions are my own.

Halloween will be here in a matter of days and you probably have costumes ready, candy bought, and decorations ready to put up. We have two of those three done, decorations will hopefully happen soon! However, the last thing we usually think about are seasonal movies and shows for this time of year. Don't worry, I did my Netflix research and collected nine different shows and divided them by age group for you. All of them are streaming on Netflix right now. Whether your kids are young, or about to become teenagers, I rounded up the perfect shows to make your Halloween fun...and maybe a little spooky!

For Kids 5 and Under

Spooky Buddies: When Halloween rolls around, the adventure-seeking Buddies (the precocious offspring of famed canine athlete Air Bud) set out to investigate mysterious happenings at a mansion that's reportedly haunted by the Halloween Hound.

Curious George A Halloween Boofest: Autumn is here, bringing colorful leaves, hay rides, pumpkin patches, and the annual Boo Festival. After hearing about a legendary scarecrow who steals hats, the inquisitive monkey and his friends set out to find him.

Children's Favorites Halloween Treats: Beloved characters Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina, Kipper, Pingu, Barney and the Rubbadubbers teach little ones how to share in the excitement and fun of Halloween in this scare-free collection of shows.

For Kids 6-9

Hotel Transylvania 2: In this batty animated sequel, high jinks and hilarity ensue when Vlad, Dracula's cranky estranged dad, arrives at Hotel Transylvania for an unexpected visit -- and promptly creates an uproar.

Dreamworks Spooky Stories: In these spooktacular stories, your favorite DreamWorks characters from the blockbuster hits Shrek and Monsters vs. Aliens return in these chilling tales for the whole family.

Power Rangers Halloween Special: On Halloween night, the creepiest creatures from the Netherworld trade war stories about their battles with the Samurai Power Rangers.

For Kids 10-12

Goosebumps: None-too happy about moving to a small Maryland town, teen Zach Cooper finds his outlook changing after meeting the gorgeous girl next door, Hannah Stine -- whose reclusive father happens to be hiding a big secret.

The Addams Family: Stepping out of the pages of Charles Addams' cartoons and the 1960s television series, the beloved macabre family takes to the big screen in a tale that centers on con artists out to swindle them by introducing a bogus Uncle Fester into their home.

Corpse Bride: This animated Tim Burton tale set in 19th-century Europe centers on Victor, a young man who, just as he's about to wed Victoria, is sucked into the underworld by a Corpse Bride who desires him for herself.
