How to Make a Disney Pinocchio School Lunch Idea!

Ever since I was a kid I have always been interested in the story of Pinocchio. I remember reading books about it and of course watching the animated movie as a child. From Jiminy Cricket to being swallowed by a whale (or monstrous fish), all of the characters were fascinating. Yes, I even like the ride in Fantasyland at Disneyland and Disney World. Don't get me wrong, it's not my favorite Disney movie, but I think it is underrated.

So when the new Disney+ live-action Pinocchio was announced, I knew I had to watch it with my kids. It didn't get stellar reviews but since we have Disney+ I decided that we would give it a shot. We enjoyed it as a family and I thought it was an interesting take. Of course, Tom Hanks was great as usual and I thought the effects were entertaining. So of course I had to make a fun food art lunch for my kids with Pinocchio as the theme!

Ingredients: Flour tortilla, corn tortilla, bread, sliced cheese, sliced ham, salami, cream cheese, blue food coloring, black food coloring marker, red sweet pepper, black chia seeds, stick of string cheese, red apple, fondant for Jiminy Cricket, whale or fish shaped crackers.

Directions:

1. For the Pinocchio sandwich, I topped a piece of bread with flour tortilla cut like Pinocchio's head. I had a second tortilla underneath with meat and cheese between them. I used corn tortilla for his hat and chia seeds stuck on to cream cheese for his hair. Sliced cheese and raisins worked for his eyes and I dyed cream cheese blue for the accents. His mouth is ham and salami. Of course, his nose is a stick of string cheese that I cut in the middle. The black details are food coloring marker.

2. The first side dish is just whale-shaped crackers, but you can use goldfish if you wish. This of course is a reference to Monstro that swallowed the whole family. Then I extended the nose and rested it on top to make it super long.

3. The second side dish is a red apple because Geppetto gave one to Pinocchio to give to his teacher. On top, I used a little bit of fondant for dessert to make Jiminy Cricket.

  2. I really like these ideas for schoolchildren. Unfortunately, at the university, I could not cook such lunches due to lack of time. That's why I turned for literature review help when I didn't have time to write anything. This helped me to maintain academic performance and at least began to get enough sleep.

  7. Glitter paper comes in various colors, sizes, and finishes, allowing for endless creative possibilities. It can be easily cut, punched, and shaped to suit different crafting needs. However, it's important to note that glitter paper can shed glitter particles, so handling with care and using a sealant or adhesive spray can help minimize glitter fallout.
