How to Make a Hamilton Musical Food Art School Lunch

I'm just going to start by being honest here. I don't know much about Hamilton, the musical that has taken the world by storm. I'm not really into musicals and have only seen a handful of shows in the theatre. I am aware the the soundtrack is supposed to be great and it is based on historical events. With that being said I also know that my daughter is addicted, and I mean ADDICTED, to the music and the thought of going to see this show makes her giddy with delight. That is enough for me to make her a Hamilton food art lunch for school.

The sad news is that here in Oklahoma she wasn't able to go see Hamilton. It was obviously sold out in Oklahoma City and neighboring Tulsa. We didn't have the money to spend on people reselling tickets for a few hundred apiece, and I couldn't luck out with the ticket lottery through the app. I tried too! I downloaded that app and entered the ticket lottery for both cities every single day just to be able to take her. But unfortunately, luck was not on our side. So because she loves Hamilton, and couldn't go to the show, I did a little bit of research and made her a themed lunch to take to school.

Since this lunch is pretty self explanatory, I'll just tell you the ingredients in each compartment. And maybe someday my daughter will be able to go see Hamilton in person!

Ingredients:
Main compartment, iconic Hamilton logo: Sandwich, cheddar cheese slice, nori (roasted seaweed)

Upper side compartment, Hamilton sheet music (actual beginning notes to the Alexander Hamilton song): Hard boiled egg, black marker, raisins

Lower side compartment, blue jacket, white vest, and white shirt worn by Alexander Hamilton in show: blueberries, provolone cheese slice, gold candy balls held on by honey

  1. When I was in school, my musical preferences were somewhat strange, and it's good that now I have grown up and listen to completely different music. In my opinion, it is really interesting how our tastes change with age and over time. By the way, for listening and downloading music, I do not use official platforms, but the Tubidy service, which is very convenient, safe and at the same time free. Well it's worth to try it if you find something convenient for music listening.
