How to Make a Fun Finding Dory Soup and Sandwich Lunch!

Wednesday, June 15, 2016

I have partnered with Campbell's Soup for this sponsored post. I have been compensated but all opinions are my own.

The wait is finally over. Ever since I first saw Finding Nemo, I knew it was an instant classic. It is actually my favorite Pixar film of all time. You have Marlin the dad who literally crosses the ocean to search for his lost son. He never gives up hope and learns a tremendous amount about himself at the same time. You meet characters like Bruce the shark and Crush the turtle. However, the fish who stole the show was definitely Dory. Now Dory gets to star in what will be the hit of the summer.

My family is so excited for the movie that I had to create a summertime lunch to celebrate. Once I saw that Campbell's Soup had limited edition Finding Dory soup cans, I knew I had to make it a soup and sandwich combo. The Campbell's Soup not only has fun character labels, but there is Dory, Nemo, and Destiny shaped noodles as well. It pairs perfectly with the easy Dory sandwich idea that I created. See how to make it below and serve it to your kids before you go see the movie!

Ingredients: Campbell's Finding Dory Chicken Noodle Soup, whole wheat bread slices, sliced
turkey, cream cheese, blue food coloring, blueberries, mango, candy googly eye, snap peas, cheese, carrot strings.
Directions:
1. Cut snap peas in half and place on plate. Cut star shape from cheese and place star on top of snap peas. Arrange carrot strings in the shape of a plant as shown on plate.

2. Cut slice of bread in a round fish shape as shown. Repeat with second slice of bread. Place turkey on one slice of bread. Put a few drops of blue food coloring in cream cheese. Mix well. Spread cream cheese on other slice of bread. Place on top of other turkey and put on plate.

3. Arrange blueberries on top of cream cheese in the pattern shown. Cut one slice of mango in a triangle shape and one in a narrow wavy shape. Place triangle tail on sandwich and wavy fin on where shown. Finish by placing googly eye on face.

4. Heat up Campbell's Soup according to directions on can. Place desired amount in bowl and serve alongside Dory sandwich. Watch your kids smile from ear to ear!

  1. While I absolutely still need practice making Bento lunches, the lunches that you post have provided me a great base to create a fun memory for my little one. Hearing how much she enjoys the lunches I make for her is worth the extra 20 minutes any day of the week!
    Thank you for the inspiration!
