How to Make a Super Easy Spider-Man Lunch

Monday, January 18, 2016

Sometimes all it takes to take a lunch from boring to awesome is a few props. I made this lunch for me kids with just a little effort and a few extra items that I had laying around. I added a sticker (with the back on) that says "Super" and a plastic Spider-Man ring. The yogurt is a pouch that is Spider-Man themed as well. For the lunchbox I used an Easy Lunch Boxes container.

I made a strawberry sandwich with cream cheese and whole wheat bread. I topped it with blackberries. The spider is black edible modeling dough. For the side there are three options. You can use dried blackberries, black bean pasta, or black rice.

The main point is that a fun lunch can take many different forms and doesn't have to take a ton of time. So have fun with it and your kids will too!
