The Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington Food Art Lunch Recipe

Since The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of our favorite Halloween/Christmas movies, we have to do at least one Jack Skellington lunch recipe every year. This one is pretty simple because I was short on time. I think it would be fun for any kid that loves this movie!

Side note, I love all of the Halloween-themed snacks and treats in the stores right now. They make creating fun Halloween recipes really easy! I found these gummy vampire teeth at Target and they are pretty tasty. I might have had to sample one when I was making this lunch. I can neither confirm nor deny that. But while you figure that you, here is how to assemble this Halloween food art lunch for your kids.

Ingredients: Dark wheat bread, provolone cheese, lunch meat and sandwich ingredients, guacamole, celery or other veggies to dip, purple grapes, Halloween-themed treat.

Directions:

1. Cut the eyes, nose, and mouth out of provolone cheese. The nice thing is that it already comes round. Place it on top of dark wheat bread. Put your favorite sandwich filling in the middle to make a sandwich and place it in the main compartment of the lunch box.

2. In one side compartment put grapes or another fruit or veggie and top with a Halloween-themed snack.

3. In the second side compartment put vegetables that are great to dip in guacamole like celery or carrots. On top of the mini guac container draw Oogie Boogie using a permanent marker. Place guac on top.
