Snoopy A Charlie Brown Christmas Peanuts School Lunch Food Art Recipe

What do you consider classic Christmas movies? For our family, one of the top Christmas movies of all-time has to be A Charlie Brown Christmas. From the wonderful holiday story, to Snoopy's Joe Cool attitude, to the carols, you can't help but smile by the end of it all. For these reasons, I had to make a Snoopy Christmas lunch for my kids this week. It's the last week before Christmas break, so I had to sneak in one more special lunch before the new year!

Directions:
1. Cut bread and cheese into the shape of Snoopy's head. Once you get one piece done, use that piece as a guide to cut the rest. Assemble into a sandwich, with cheese on top, and place in main compartment of lunchbox. Surround with pretzels.

2. Cut black nose, eye, ear, and collar out of nori. Place where shown in photo.

3. For Snoopy's hat, cut one color of fruit leather into shape of hat. Then cut pieces out of blue fruit leather and place on top of the other flavored fruit leather. Make sure to leave the plastic on the back so that fruit leather stays intact. Place on Snoopy's head and finish by putting a strip of tortilla on for the brim and circle on the end of the hat.

4. For Snoopy's doghouse, cut the roof and main part out of Babybel cheese, leaving the red wax on. Draw the black lines on with a food safe marker and then make the Christmas lights and snow out of fondant. Use dried cranberries or another fried fruit as the background and place in side compartment.

5. When making Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree, fill the compartment with sliced strawberries and top them with coconut. Use a twig of rosemary for the tree and brown fondant for the wood base. Cut a small circle out of a strawberry for the lone ornament. The snowman is an optional foodpick.
