Who needs an easy and fun treat to serve this holiday season? I know I'm always looking for new ideas! That's why we've made these Life Cereal holiday-themed bars that are great for your family to make for dessert.
We love Life Cereal for breakfast time so I figured...why does the morning have to have all of the fun? We decided that after dinner during Christmas is a great time to enjoy this recipe. So, take some time to celebrate the joys of togetherness this holiday season by taking Life beyond the cereal bowl. Besides Life Cereal, all you need are just a few more ingredients. Follow my easy directions below.
Ingredients:
Serving size: 12 servings3 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter
3 cup(s) miniature marshmallows
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
7 cup(s) Quaker Original Life Cereal
Directions:
1. Crush Life Cereal into smaller pieces.
2. In saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and vanilla extract and stir until melted.

3. Add Life Cereal and stir.
4. Press into 9x13-inch pan coated with cooking spray.
5. Cool and cut into squares.
6. Use red and green icing on top of each bar to create ribbons and bows and turn the squares into holiday presents!
