How to Make a LEGO Brick and Minifigure Food Art Lunch!

If your kids are addicted to LEGO like mine are, then you will want to make them this easy and fun LEGO lunch featuring bricks and minifigures! I seriously find LEGOs all around the house at pretty much all times. Yes, I've even damaged my foot for life by stepping on one brick before. Ok, maybe that is a bit dramatic but if you know you know.

Every year I try and make a LEGO lunch for my kids that has a twist on it. I've done frozen yogurt bricks, a few LEGO Movie lunches with Wyldstyle and Emmett, and a few others. This year I went with more of a generic minifig theme but tried something new with the dessert twist. Keep reading to find out how I made it!

Ingredients: Bread, meat, cheddar and white cheese, nori, salami, whole wheat tortilla, blueberries, graham crackers, Jolly Ranchers, apples, LEGO silicon molds.

Directions:

1. Cut corners off piece of cheddar cheese to make minifig head. Put bread and meat underneath for sandwich and surround with blueberries or other fruit.

2. Cut whatever hair design you like out of tortilla. I did short hair like you see above or long hair if you like. Make eyes eyebrows and mouth out of nori. Teeth is white cheese and tongue is salami.

3. For the minifigs I used melted cheese in a silicon mold. I let them harden in the refrigerator. I built a LEGO brick wall behind them using apples.

4. The candy LEGO bricks are Jolly Ranchers that I melted in the microwave for 60 seconds and poured into another silicon mold. I let them cool for 10-15 minutes.

Both silicon molds can easily be found on Amazon. I have used them for years! I hope your kids enjoy the LEGO lunches that you make them as much as mine have. Even if you don't make the entire lunch, maybe one of my ideas can inspire you to copy just one part for a party, snack, or just a fun dessert for the weekend!
