Having kids can be challenging, but it's also one of the most rewarding experiences. Watching them grow, learn, and explore the world around them is a privilege and a joy. Every moment (ok maybe not EVERY moment) spent with them is a precious memory, from the silly moments of laughter to the heartwarming ones of comfort and support.

Loving your kids is about being present and taking the time to understand their needs and perspectives. It's about showing them patience, kindness and encouraging them to be the best version of themselves. Whether it's playing with them, reading to them, or even making a fun food art lunch like this one, these small acts of love can have a big impact on their lives.

So, on this Valentine's Day, take a moment to express your love and gratitude for your kids. Tell them how much they mean to you and how proud you are of them. Show them that they are loved and valued. If you want to make this Valentine's Day lunch, just follow the simple recipe below to bring a smile to their face. Happy Valentine's Day!

Ingredients: Hot dog bun, hot dog, heart-themed donut, sliced cheese, grape tomato, dried mango, pear, red apple.

Directions:

1. Trim the hot dog bun to fit in the lunchbox. Then slice the hot dog into pieces and place in bun. Cut 1-2 slices of cheddar cheese into heart shapes. I used a cutter to make it easy. Insert the cheese slices between the hot dog pieces. Place in main compartment of lunchbox.

2. Cut up donut and fit pieces in next to the hot dog.

3. Cut a pear slice. Cut a heart out of the center. Cut a similar sized heart out of the apple and insert the heart apple into the pear heart hole. Place in side compartment. You can dice up the pear and place under the heart slice for even more fruit.

4. Slice a grape tomato diagonally. Twist the pieces to make a heart and stick a toothpick through the middle to hold the pieces together. You can cut off more small pieces at the top to make it even more like a heart if you like. Place in side compartment on top of dried mango.
