5 Tips You've Probably Never Used to Easily Scour, Disinfect, and Sanitize Your Kitchen

This is a sponsored post in partnership with The Home Depot. All opinions are my own.

I talk quite a bit about how to make family-friendly recipes that your kids will devour but I don't think I've written about the best ways to clean up after the cooking mess has been made in the kitchen. I'm changing that right now by revealing my seven tips to cleaning up your kitchen after the recipe is made. Unfortunately there's no single magic trick to cleaning up the dishes, food on the floor, and splatters on the clothes, but these cleaning hacks will make your life infinitely easier. Have you ever heard of these tips before?

5 Tips You've Probably Never Used to Easily Scour, Disinfect, and Sanitize Your Kitchen
Tip 1: Clorox Wipes Aren't Just for Countertops
Clorox Disinfecting Wipes are one of my absolute favorite cleaning tools. Did you know that you can use them on surfaces other than counter tops? From stainless steel to finished hardwood, Clorox Disinfecting Wipes don't just cut through grease and grime, but they kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria in 10 seconds. My favorite is the lemon scent!

Tip 2: Pine-Sol Cleans Up Grease...On Your Clothes
After you are done cooking, there is a chance that there are grease splatters and stains on your clothes or apron. Just because you are making great food doesn't mean you have to wear big stains on your clothing! Just pour a little Pine-Sol on the stain, work it in a little bit, and then wash as you normally would.
Pine-Sol disinfects and kills 99.9% of germs. Besides clothes, you can use Pine-Sol Multi-surface cleaner on hard, nonporous surfaces including floors (such as finished hardwood and carpet), sinks, counters (such as granite), bathtubs, shower stalls, tile and more. We love using Pine-Sol because it deodorizes and has a clean, fresh scent!

A Love Every Day Lunch with Lil Snappers™ Apples

From reading books, to watching movies, to enjoying a meal together, there are so many ways that we can show our kids that we love them. One of the ways that I show my kids that I am thinking about them and love them is by making each child a fun food art lunch every week. Sometimes I like to show a little extra love, like in this lunch which I call my “Love Every Day” heart lunch using tasty Lil Snappers® apples. You don't need to wait until Valentine's Day to decorate with heart-shaped food, just watch the video below and follow my easy instructions to make this lunch for your family!

My family loves Lil Snappers® because they are kid sized fruits that are perfect for lunches. As you can see, I can even fit one in the side compartment! If you have kids who won't eat an entire regular-sized apple, you need to try this brand from Stemilt. Each bite is crisp and juicy and they are born for snacking.
